From 29 to 31 May 2026, Tajfun participated in Quarry Exhibition 2026, held in Litochoro (Pieria), Greece. The exhibition brought together professionals from the forestry, construction, and quarrying industries. Together with our official distributor, Tajfun Hellas, we showcased selected Tajfun forestry solutions and met with customers, business partners, and forestry professionals from across Greece.

FORESTRY PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN GREECE

Although Greece is often associated with the sea and tourism, forestry also plays an important role in the country’s sustainable management of natural resources.

A large proportion of Greece’s forests are located in the northern and mountainous regions, where forestry operations are often carried out on steep, rocky terrain with limited accessibility. These demanding conditions require forestry equipment that is reliable, robust, and adaptable. In such environments, machines that enable safe and efficient operation while reducing the daily workload of forestry professionals are essential.

This is precisely where the value of high-quality forestry solutions, built on decades of experience and a deep understanding of users’ needs, becomes evident. Quarry Exhibition 2026 therefore provided an excellent opportunity to present Tajfun machines that have been supporting forestry professionals around the world for decades.

PRESENTING TAJFUN SOLUTIONS

Visitors had the opportunity to explore a selection of Tajfun forestry machines and discuss their capabilities, applications, and advantages with our team.

Particular attention was drawn to the Tajfun DGV 2×55 AHK double-drum forestry winch, an excellent solution for demanding terrain. The winch features two drums, each providing a pulling force of 5.5 tonnes. It is equipped with the SG system, which enables hydraulic rope feeding, significantly simplifying winch preparation before operation. This feature is especially valuable on steep slopes, which are common in Greek forests, allowing operators to work more quickly and with less effort.

Also on display was the Tajfun DOT 50ZK hydraulic forestry crane, designed for versatile use both on tractors and forestry trailers. With two telescopic extensions, it offers a reach of 8.6 metres and is equipped with the GO26X grapple. Various control options—from mechanical controls to a wireless remote control—allow users to configure the crane according to their individual requirements.

Visitors also had the opportunity to see the RCA 480 JOY firewood processor, one of the most popular models in the RCA product range. The machine processes logs up to 48 cm in diameter and splits firewood into various configurations. With a production capacity of up to 13 m³ of firewood per hour, it offers an efficient solution for professional firewood production.

Together, the exhibited machines demonstrated the breadth of Tajfun’s product portfolio—from timber extraction in the forest to efficient firewood processing. Regardless of the application, all Tajfun solutions share the same core values: robust construction, user-friendly operation, and dependable performance in demanding working conditions.

Visitors also enjoyed live demonstrations of the forestry crane mounted on a tractor, as well as the operation of the DGV 2×55 AHK double-drum winch.
