At this year’s Elmia Wood 2025, we will proudly unveil, in cooperation with our Swedish partner More Maskiner, the RCA PRO 500 Hy – the latest model in the RCA PRO series that marks a significant step forward in both flexibility and efficiency.

This new model builds on all the proven advantages of the already well-established RCA PRO 500, a machine designed for efficient, safe, and comfortable firewood production:

  • Fast and easy setup – ready for operation in about 30 minutes
  • Ergonomic and intuitive joystick control with simple function buttons
  • Display for monitoring key operating parameters
  • Adjustable log length and interchangeable splitting wedges (nine configurations)
  • Automatic wedge leveling
  • Integrated sawdust separator and saw dust extractor unit, compatible with BIG BAG collection systems for a clean and productive work environment
  • High-capacity performance with logs up to 50 cm in diameter and up to 6 m in length
  • Reliable log transportation system with a flexible discharge conveyor and a practical solution for a clean work area
  • Exceptional productivity – up to 14 m³/h

What’s New? Introducing the HY Version – Independent Hydraulic Drive

The new “HY” version represents a major upgrade. This model is even more energy-efficient and allows for optimized power usage – a key consideration at a time when users are increasingly focused on reducing operating costs and minimizing environmental impact.

The RCA PRO 500 Hy features a fully hydraulic drive system, enabling operation without the use of a PTO (power take-off) shaft. The machine can be powered by either the GP 40 gasoline power unit or the EP 5x electric motor, offering two independent drive options. With integrated hydraulic pumps, it ensures optimal power transmission with minimal losses – meaning it requires significantly less input power compared to other external drives or traditional tractor-driven systems.
